Frankfurt

Here I am on my way over the Atlantic, with my new friend Salem who was flying home to Eritrea for a family wedding. Lufthansa's service was excellent, the food was delicious and the drinks were free!

I wrote a bit about my stop in Frankfurt already, but since this website is in German, I accidentally deleted it, so hopefully this time it will work.

Frankfurt is already a blur...

I know Frankfurt isn't part of Africa, but it's part of my trip so I thought it should be included. I had a wonderful day here, but very tiring since I walked all day long carrying all my luggage, but fortunately that's only about 20 lbs. I took a train from the massive Frankfurt airport into downtown and then walked down to the river called am Main. There is so much incredible old architecture here I just went crazy with my camera, but what else is new?

The train system like everything in Germany, was very efficient, and would have been very simple to use had I been able to read the German ticket dispensing machines and signs. No matter, I only got lost once, and by the time I had to head back to the airport I knew the system pretty well.
